Steps to request partial data deletion

To exercise this option, follow these steps:

1. Send an email to privacy@staytune.in from the same email address registered on your StayTune account (so we can verify it is you).
2. Use the subject line “StayTune – data deletion request” and list which categories you want removed (see examples below). Be as specific as you can (for example: “delete my chat history with user X” or “remove my uploaded audio posts from date …”).
3. We will confirm receipt, verify your identity if needed, and tell you what we can delete without closing your account. Some requests may require full account deletion; we will explain when that applies.

Examples of data you may ask us to delete

Depending on your request and our systems, we may be able to delete or anonymize items such as:

• Certain posts, comments, or media you uploaded
• Specific conversation threads or attachments in direct messages
• Optional profile fields or avatar image
• Marketing or optional analytics preferences where stored separately

We cannot always remove a single piece of data while leaving an active account unchanged in every case (for example if an identifier is required for security or billing). We will tell you the outcome for your specific request.

Data we may keep after a partial request

Even when we delete the categories you asked for, we may retain:

• Account core: What we need to operate your account (for example email for login) unless you choose full account deletion.
• Legal and compliance: Information we must keep by law, for the time required in your jurisdiction.
• Security: Anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify you.
• Backups: Residual copies in encrypted backups for a limited period (e.g. up to 90 days) before they are overwritten.
